Description of Duties:
An NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available to investigate the role of a novel molecule as a biomarker of aggressiveness or progression in prostate cancer. Ph.D. in molecular biology, biochemistry, or other health-related disciplines is required.
Candidates must possess a PhD with an extensive laboratory experience and solid background in molecular biology techniques including but not limited to nucleic acid hybridization, protein and gene expression analysis, gene-overexpression or -silencing, Real-time PCR, cloning, and site-directed mutagenesis. Experience and background in cancer research and signal transduction is desirable. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and productive research team.
