The laboratory of Dr. Fumito Ito at the Center for Immunotherapy is looking for a postdoctoral candidate to work on research efforts toward investigating antitumor immune responses of in situ immune modulation using mice models of breast cancer and/or melanoma, and predictive biomarker in patients undergoing immune checkpoint blockade.
The candidate should have a Ph.D. in immunology (or related field) and should have experience using both in vitro methods and small animal models. Expertise in cancer immunology and related methodologies/assays is required and having various molecular biology techniques would be considered an asset. The candidate must be able to work independently, develop and carry out multiple scientific projects simultaneously, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have a proven track record of successful mentoring.
