Description of Duties

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is recruiting an Academic Surgical Pathologist. 

The position seeks an individual with clinical expertise in GYN pathology. Candidates with a combination of GYN pathology and others areas of expertise are also encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a record of scholarship, and a commitment to teaching. You will report directly to the Director of Surgical Pathology, join an Anatomic Pathology Division of twenty (20) pathologists and contribute to a surgical pathology service that employs a modified-subspecialty sign-out model. Roswell Park’s Center for Immunotherapy and Cancer Center Support Grant resources provide abundant opportunities for cross-disciplinary basic and translational research collaborations.

Salary is commensurate with the roles and responsibilities of an Assistant or Associate Professor (AAMC).

Qualifications

Applicants must hold MD, MD/PhD, or DO degrees and be board certified in AP from the American Board of Pathology, as well as be eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the State of New York.
