Description of Duties:
Accurately delivers planned courses of radiation therapy treatment to patients according to the physician's prescription. This includes IMRT, TBI, TSE and SBRT treatment. Knowledgeable on image guidance techniques including CBCT and Kv-Kv imaging and uses acquired images for accurate patient set-up. Places patient safety as the top priority and performs all quality assurance checks as required. Provides patient support in a professional and caring manner. Utilizes Mosaiq record-and-verify software for patient treatment scheduling and procedure documentation. Uses excellent time management skills to adapt to a high patient volume workload.
License to practice as a radiation therapist in the State of New York.
Education and Experience
Associate’s degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in the practice of Radiation Therapy.
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
The preferred candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years experience with state-of-the art treatment technology. Also, possess a ARRT certification.
