Pharmacy Dispensing and Automation Associate
Maintains an adequate inventory of all drugs in the hospital’s Automated Dispensing Cabinets (ADC) in a cost-effective manner. Manages the day-to-day operations of the hospital’s automated ADC systems. Acts as a liaison with internal and external department entities to ensure adequate inventory control and accountability for supplies, pricing and optimal medication distribution.
The applicant must have a Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)-required. Applicants must have a High school diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and one year of full-time Pharmacy Technician experience in a hospital or healthcare organization with extensive training and experience with automated dispensing system The preferred candidate will have hospital experience, experience with automation dispensing cabinets, and experience specifically with Pyxis.
