Develops and implements patient care plans to facilitate development and rehabilitation of persons with oncology-related disabilities; ensures program initiatives are keeping with the standards of practice of the American Occupational Therapy Association, the New York Education Department, organization and department policies and the standards of The Joint Commission (TJC).
The applicant must have a License to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the State of New York. The applicant must have a Master’s degree from an approved occupational therapy program; or a Bachelor’s degree from an approved occupational therapy program and the equivalent of two years of full-time experience in occupational therapy or a related field. The preferred candidate will have acute care experience, oncology care experience, will be proficient in use of EMR and have strong verbal/written skills.
