Description of Duties:
The Nurse II (Employee Health Clinic) plans, provides and supervises nursing interventions for a broad range of employee and occupational health services and other related responsibilities and tasks. The Nurse II (Employee Health Clinic) delivers all aspects of employee health care and services and ensures compliance with organization, The Joint Commission (TJC) and other government and regulatory body requirements. They also work with the Employee Health physician, Nurse Manager and Nurse Practitioner, supervise the Clinical Support Assistant, and perform administrative tasks with assigned area of responsibility.
Applicants must have a License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York and have graduated from an accredited school of nursing. In addition, applicants must have either one year of full-time oncology experience; one year of full time critical care experience; or three years of medical surgical experience in an acute care setting; one year of full-time occupational health experience. The preferred candidate will have one year of full-time experience in an Occupational Health and/or ER setting, excellent time and attendance, verbal and written electronic communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with persons of all levels.
