The Nurse Anesthetist plans and administers anesthesia to patients according to established procedures.
Applicants must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York. Eligibility for certification by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists and a current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). The applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and successful completion of an accredited nurse anesthesia program. The preferred candidate will have a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia, experience as a CRNA, and advanced experience in the administration of Anesthesia to high risk oncology patients.
