Description of Duties:
The Laboratory Technician will analyze sequencing data (RNASeq, WES, single cell RNASeq, TCRSeq, ChIPSeq, ATACSeq, CyTOF, IMC), prepare a "biologist-friendly" report, help integrating the results in the context of the project they originate from, develop novel analytic pipelines, collaborate with other labs to help with integrating -omics data analysis and exploratory data analysis in their projects.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field or an Associate’s degree in a science-related field and the equivalent of two years of full-time laboratory experience. The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in a bioinformatics, biostatistics, computer science, or related field. The preferred candidate will be fluent with UNIX and R, have knowledge of Python/Perl/Java in Bioinformatics/Biostatistics/Statistics/Computer Science or similar and have knowledge of machine learning and experience in Immunogenomics.
This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
