Description of Duties:
The Laboratory Technician will support an ongoing project to understand cytokine mediated metabolic reprogramming in pancreatic tumor. The Laboratory is broadly interested in cytokine biology, cancer metabolism and cancer therapeutics.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field or an Associate’s degree in a science-related field and the equivalent of two years of full-time laboratory experience. The preferred candidate will have a degree in Biology and work experience in immunology, cancer biology, molecular or cellular biology, biochemistry or genetics. The preferred candidate will also have experience with mouse handling. Excellent communication and organizational skills along with a solid work ethic are preferred.
This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
