Description of Duties:
The Hospital Clinical Assistant assists nurses and therapists with numerous duties involving direct and indirect patient care, transports patients within the Institute, and picks up and delivers x-rays, supplies, mail, scans and other items as needed in the clinic. The Hospital Clinical Assistant also assists with patient flow through and monitors and maintains quality assurance and quality improvement activities.
Applicants must have a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of one year of full-time direct patient experience; or a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three years of full-time experience in a healthcare setting; or a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three years of full-time face-to-face customer service experience; or Matriculation in a Nursing Program. The preferred candidate will have a MA certification and will have more than two years of experience as an HCA, or similar position, in an ambulatory setting.
