The Cytotechnologist screens, evaluates, and interprets gynecologic and non-gynecologic slides; enters diagnosis into computer; maintains records; assists on fine needle aspiration biopsy procedures.
Applicants must have a License to practice as a Cytotechnologist in the State of New York or a Bachelor’s degree in Cytotechnology and eligibility for licensure as a Cytotechnologist in the State of New York or a Bachelor’s degree with a one year course of study at an accredited school of Cytotechnology and eligibility for licensure as a Cytotechnologist in the State of New York. The preferred candidate will have Cytology experience.
This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
