$14.84 per hour. Includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Description of Duties:
The Clinical Support Assistant performs clerical support functions in an assigned inpatient unit of the institute, answers routine inquiries, screens calls, and assists visitors and patients. The Clinical Support Assistant performs the above duties and responsibilities in a confidential environment requiring direct supervision with limited latitude for utilizing judgment and initiative.
Applicants must have a High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of one year of full-time secretarial experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology. The preferred candidate will have an Associate's Degree in a medical related field, one year of full-time experience with scheduling systems, including OR and Electronic Medical Records Systems, and will have knowledge of oncology terminology. They will also have office experience, expert technological skills and good customer service skills.
