Description of Duties:
The Clinical Nurse Manager manages the clinical and business operations of one or more ambulatory centers by directing, supervising and coordinating center operations and staff in order to support the provision of quality, cost-effective nad patient-centric care. The Clinical Nurse Manager also manages patients scheduled, identifies and leads process improvement initiatives, assumes responsibility for center financial performance, and patient/family, provider, and staff satisfaction, and manages the patient experience at assigned centers in collaboration with Patient/Family Experience (PFE) Department. They also work in partnership with the Physician Service Leaders, faculty, Practice Administrators, and clinical nurse leaders associate with the assigned centers.
Applicants must have a License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, 16 CEU’s annually and the equivalent of three years of full-time nursing experience in an oncology support setting; or a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, 16 CEU’s annually and the equivalent of five years of full-time nursing experience in an acute care support setting. The preferred candidate will have a Master's degree in business or health related field and the equivalent of three years of full-time experience as a nurse practitioner, physician assistant, registered nurse, private practice administrator, or in a comparable health care field, including eighteen months experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial, or executive capacity; or a Bachelor's Degree in a health related field along with the equivalent of five years of full-time experience as a nurse practitioner, physician assistant, registered nurse, private practice administrator, or in a comparable health care field, including eighteen months experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial, or executive capacity. They will also have a minimum of three years Chemotherapy experience.
