Description of Duties:
The Clinical Laboratory Technologist preforms simple and complex laboratory test procedures in the Flow Cytometry laboratory. Routine job responsibilities will include the development and maintenance of systems used in the preparation, staining, acquisition, and analysis of samples received for flow cytometry immunophenotyping. The performance of calibration and maintenance procedures. Utilization of spreadsheets and graphic software to provide final flow result interpretation for director review, coordination and maintenance of supply inventory for operational use within the laboratory.
Applicants must have a License to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York; or a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or a related health care discipline and eligibility for licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York.The preferred candidate will be NYS Licensed or eligible as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist with previous Flow Cytometry experience and Cell Culture experience as well as proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
