Description of Duties:
The Anaplastologist fabricates removable oral and extra-oral prostheses for maxillofacial rehabilitation of cancer patients in close coordination with prosthodontists, general dentists and surgeons to ensure successful esthetic and functional rehabilitation of head and neck oral cancer patients. The Anaplastologist also interacts with patients to facilitate the customization of prostheses.
Applicants must have a Certification or eligibility for certification in Clinical Anaplastology and a Bachelor’s degree in Medical or Dental Sciences, Medical Illustration, Dental Materials, Prosthetics or a related field. The preferred candidate will have experience with Medical Record Abstraction and data entry.
