Coordinates and oversees all training activities as they relate to IT and clinical applications training. Organizes and schedules all new hire training courses and monitors and tracks completions. Engages with organizational business areas to answer questions and facilitate learning. Works closely with business areas and the department trainers to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations on improvement.
Applicants must posses a Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of one year of full-time experience in training, customer service, help desk and/or call center experience; or an Associate’s degree and the equivalent of three years of full-time experience in training, customer service, help desk and/or call center experience. The preferred candidate will have experience: working closely with end users to ensure they have retained critical learning objectives and determine whether additional learning is needed; providing phone and/or "at the elbow" support for end users on technical applications; coordinating, tracking, and monitoring new hire training requirements; coordinating network and system access for clinical care providers within the EHR; and providing follow-up and remedial activities to support the end user needs post program implementation/presentation. The candidate will have comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Sharepoint; possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as above average computer and technical skills; understanding of clinical workflows and integration of information technology systems; and superior attention to details, problem solver, and strong organizational skills. The candidate will have the ability to translate technical terminology and concepts for understanding by non-technical audiences. The preferred candidate will have at least two years working in an administrative/supportive capacity, be proficient in IT applications, former system administrator, have experience managing multiple schedules and coordinating department projects and experience working in training/learning and development department preferred.
