Description of Duties:
The Technical Support Specialist coordinates projects; assists in the use and support of personal computer installations; implements projects as directed; analyzes, diagnoses and resolves personal computer hardware, operating system, or general application software installation problems; coordinates internal and external staff and equipment to insure timely and accurate installations; identifies needs and assesses the scope of projects.
Applicants must possess an Associate's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field including at least one semester of an internship in Information Technology or an Associate's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field and the equivalent of six months of full-time experience in Information Technology hardware/software support in a corporate network environment. The preferred candidate will have knowledge and experience in computer imaging, hardware deployment and software installation; possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to work within a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The preferred candidate will have customer services skills coupled with technical skills are paramount. Familiarity with ServiceNow and ITIL processes would be preferred.
