Team Science Grant Coordinator
Health Research, Inc. (HRI) Roswell Park Division is seeking a full-time Team Science Grant Coordinator. The Team Science Grant Coordinator works with the CCSG Administrator/Director, Grant and Foundation Development and current grant coordinators to increase the number of high-quality submissions team science based grant applications, specifically Program Project Grants (P01) and Specialized Projects of Research Excellence (SPORE) resulting in an increase in external funding for the organization; coordinates application preparation, including editing, proofreading, formatting and revising grants; organizes internal and external advisory boards for the team science grants; works to promote interprogrammatic/interdisciplinary grant applications; monitors and ensures progress reports on successful applications are submitted in a timely manner.
The applicant must have a Master’s degree and the equivalent of two years of full-time experience in grant preparation and editing. The preferred candidate will have previous experience with program project grant submissions to NIH. The preferred candidate will also have the following: Interpersonal skills; MicroSoft Office competency; ability to schedule and organize meetings with internal and external "customers" and experience navigating SharePoint.
This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
