Description of Duties:
The Team Science Grant Coordinator works with the CCSG Administrator/Director, Grant and Foundation Development and current grant coordinators to increase the number of high-quality submissions team science based grant applications, specifically Program Project Grants (P01) and Specialized Projects of Research Excellence (SPORE) resulting in an increase in external funding for the organization. The Team Science Grant Coordinator coordinates application preparation, including editing, proofreading, formatting and revising grants, organizes internal and external advisory boards for the team science grants, and works to promote interprogrammatic/interdisciplinary grant applications. They also monitor and ensure progress reports on successful applications are submitted in a timely manner.
Applicants must have a Master’s degree and the equivalent of two years of full-time experience in grant preparation and editing.
This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
