Description of Duties:
The Systems Analyst manages the IT infrastructure operational resources, facilitate communication between management, staff, and customers to ensure an effective approach to the implementation of IT solutions; researchs and recommends purchases on hardware purchases and negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions. The Systems Analyst's workload on a day-to-day basis includes assigning resources to tasks as appropriate and ensuring suitable levels of service and support coverage; manages and coordinates urgent and complicated support issues which may involve other IT functional areas; provides leadership to ensure outstanding technical service to all external and internal customers; and acts as escalation point for all infrastructure requests and incidents.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and the equivalent of five years of full-time experience in Information Technology or a related field or a Associates degree in computer science or a related field and the equivalent of six years of full-time experience in Information Technology or a related field or High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma in computer science or a related field and the equivalent of eight years of full-time experience in Information Technology or a related field. The preferred candidate will have experience with: data center equipment, services and operations; information security best practices and technologies; microsoft technologies (e.g., AD, Windows, SQL, Azure, Office 365); VMware/AirWatch; ITIL/ITSM concepts; Hyperconverged technology; Mobility, mobile personal devices management and connectivity; Storage Area Networks (SAN); Cloud computing; Virtualization; Backup technologies and Project management.
