Description of Duties:
The Senior Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for the daily management, scheduling and triage of incoming customer support requests as well as providing senior level technical expertise as required to facilitate demand. Additionally, this person will serve as a Team Leader at the IT Service Desk, providing senior technical oversight as well as coordination of efforts within the team and, at times, working in concert with other departments throughout Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field and the equivalent of two years of full-time relevant technology experience; or an Associate’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field and the equivalent of four years of full-time relevant technology experience.
The preferred candidate will have experience leading large scale projects and/or computer deployments.
