Senior Secretary (Administrative)
The Senior Secretary (Administrative) performs complex clerical, administrative and general office duties. The Senior Secretary (Administrative) transcribes, types, maintains records and files, distributes mail, performs telephone reception, and welcomes and directs on-site visitors. They also duplicates and distributes photocopies, routes faxes, and reviews work assignments of various subordinate levels to enhance administrative support efforts and meet department objectives. The Senior Secretary (Administrative) participates in the team or group work activities in the office and performs the above duties and responsibilities in a complex and confidential environment requiring limited supervision with considerable latitude for utilizing judgment and initiative.
Applicants must have an Associate’s degree and the equivalent of one year of full-time secretarial or related experience; or a High School Diploma High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of two years of full-time secretarial or related experience. The preferred candidate will have the ability to utilize excel, word and power point. They will be highly organized, efficient and confidential. They also will be able to multi-task and will have excellent customer service skills.
