Description of Duties:
The Senior Secretary (Administrative) performs complex clerical, administrative and general office duties; transcribes, types, maintains records and files, distributes mail; performs telephone reception; welcomes and directs on-site visitors; duplicates and distributes photocopies; routes faxes; reviews work assignments of various subordinate levels to enhance administrative support efforts and meet department objectives; participates in the team or group work activities in the office; performs the above duties and responsibilities in a complex and confidential environment requiring limited supervision with considerable latitude for utilizing judgment and initiative.
Applicants must have an Associate’s degree and the equivalent of one year of full-time secretarial or related experience; or a High School Diploma High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of two years of full-time secretarial or related experience.
