Description of Duties:
Performs the majority of planned internal audit, assessment and review fieldwork and testing over internal, operational and management control systems and organizational performance; evaluates results and develops applicable recommendations for internal control and process improvements.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of five years of full-time progressive experience in an external and/or internal auditing function. The preferred candidate will possess an advanced degree; will have an applicable license or certification (i.e. CPA, CIA, PMP, CFE, CISA); will have strong analytical and Microsoft Office skills; will have operational and compliance audit experience; will have experience with training staff and reviewing work papers; will have experience with Workday; will have experience with large software implementation projects; will have healthcare and/or health insurance experience. Excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and the ability to prioritize and understand risk is necessary for this role.
