Description of Duties:
The Quality Analyst improves clinical processes and outcomes, collects, validates and analyzes relevant data, facilitates interdisciplinary groups established to promote evidence-based change, and identifies appropriate tools to promote patient safety, patient satisfaction and improvements to specific initiatives. The Quality Analyst also develops tools that will be useful to those working independently on projects, provides data to external regulatory groups relevant to certification and accreditations, and works within the context of the organization’s goals. They also facilitate, measure and report sequential improvements leading to fully realized strategic improvements, seek relevant and appropriate sources of comparison and work to continuously build and refine these sources, and identify with and reports measures to faculty, staff and administration, the Board of Directors, payors, external advisory, accrediting and regulatory groups.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and the equivalent of two years of full-time experience in health care data analysis; or an Associate’s degree in a related field and the equivalent of four years of full-time experience in health care data analysis; or a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time experience in health care data analysis. The preferred candidate will have analytical and strategic thinking skills, will be resilient, will have the ability to provide innovation and creativity in problem solving, and will have the ability to build collaborative relationships.
