The Project Director manages the database and performs the daily tasks associated with the Gilda Radner Familial Ovarian Cancer Registry research project under the direction of Registry faculty. This includes: Review, abstract & enter legacy data from medical and pathological reports into LIMS database for the Registry, maintain the database, and mail Registry materials, member letters and blood kits. They also keep track of donations to the Registry and send Thank You letters, provide outreach to patients and assist Registry members with any questions/concerns.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field and the equivalent of two years of full-time experience in community-based health planning and/or promotion. The preferred candidate will have at least one year of experience in entering/maintaining patient-related data in a database, at least one year of experience working with an electronic health record, excellent computer skills, to include Microsoft Word & Excel, as well as a database program(s). They will also have excellent interpersonal communication skills & attention to detail.
This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
