The project coordinator will collaborate with physicians, patients and clinic staff to facilitate patient flow and ensure accurate and complete medical records. He/she will accompany the physician into the patient exam room to document all physician-directed elements of the patient's visit in the electronic medical record system to include symptoms, medications, physical exam findings, complete assessment and treatment plan. He/she will ensure compliance with all edical practices and procedures to maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information. The candidate must have knowledge of medical terminology.
Applicants must have a High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma.
The preferred candidate will have and Associates degree and one year of healthcare experience or be a nursing student or a pre-med student. The preferred candidate will have the ability to accurately type 60+ WPM and have superior verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills to ensure outstanding patient care.
