The Online Marketing Project Coordinator will fully support the efforts of the Online Marketing Specialist. The intern will provide assistance as needed to the Marketing and Communications team, specifically related to content for Roswell Park Cancer Institute social media platforms. The intern will assist with data collection for analysis and reporting from various sources including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Facebook Insights and Google AdWords. The candidate will assist with all digital advertising efforts, including through social media and search engine marketing. The candidate will help produce organic social media content, including messaging, photos and video across Roswell Park platforms. Will assist with keyword research and implementation, along with additional meta data information, for all blog posts and other pages as needed on external website. He or she will provide assistance to Marketing and Communications team with editing and producing digital content for search engine optimization (SEO) best practices, including web and video. The candidate will assist with local and regional demographic research for purposes of highly targeted digital advertising campaigns. He or she will study industry trends and best practices, collaborating with the Online Marketing Specialist to implement and execute as part of Roswell Park's digital strategy. The candidate will attend various Roswell Park events and press conferences for assistance with social media coverage as needed.
Applicants must have High School Diploma or a High School Equivalency diploma.
The preferred candidate must have completed at least one year in an accredited degree program in Marketing, Communications or related field, have prior digital video experience, including live streaming via Facebook Live, and experience using all relevant social media platforms, including Instagram and Snapchat is preferred. The candidate will have excellent writing skills and verbal communication, will understand concepts of search engine optimization (SEO), keyword research, social media advertising and search engine advertising, and familiarity with HTML, Google products, Microsoft Office, Adobe software including Photoshop and Premiere Pro, and the Drupal content management system.
