Programmer/Analyst Trainee I
Health Research, Inc. (HRI) Roswell Park Division is seeking a full-time Programmer/Analyst Trainee I. This is a trainee position. Incumbents will be engaged in trainee duties that may lead to the full performance level of a Programmer/Analyst.
The applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems or a related field.
The preferred candidate will have experience programming in VB.NET (or similar syntax) using Microsoft Visual Studio Professional, experience creating and managing Microsoft relational database technologies such as MSSQL (Microsoft SQL) and SMMS (SQL Server Management Studio), experience working on teams and/or networks that leverage Microsoft-based securable technologies, such as Active Directory Security Groups, experience with providing support and analysis relating to third-party software applications (i.e. the Tobii eye tracking software). In addition, the preferred candidate will have experience gathering technical requirements and project specifications, experience with data organization and analysis, preferably in SPSS (other statistical software okay) and the ability to follow research protocols to perform complex human experiments and laboratory tests.
This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
