Description of Duties:
The Programmer/Analyst provides a variety of IT programming support for the developmental needs of the Biomedical Data Science Shared Resource (BDSSR). The Programmer/Analyst develops web applications to enter, report and visualize data, develops software programs and SQL queries to extract and analyze information from relational databases, and develops, debugs, documents and maintains software programs that support BDSSR operations. They also define and gather data requirements for clinical and research information systems, analyze database documenting files and reports, and assist as directed in the design and improvement of systems and methods. The Programmer/Analyst also monitors the software program execution and initiates modifications as needed.
