Description of Duties:
The Programmer/Analyst will be assigned to the Enterprise Applications team within the Information Technology department and participate in the support of applications used by the HR and Finance departments. The Programmer/Analyst will analysis systems and processes, gather requirements from end users, design applications and changes to applications, and develop programs, reports and other tools as components of these applications and systems as well as testing of all related components. The Programmer/Analyst will also support the existing Lawson application and interrelated systems.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems or a related field and the equivalent of two years of full-time experience in programming of mainframe or PC information systems as it relates to technology used at the Institute.
The preferred candidate will have experience maintaining enterprise level computer systems used to support the Financial and/or Human Resources departments of large healthcare organizations. The preferred candidate will have experience with COBOL programming and familiarity with the Lawson suite of HR and Finance products and must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a goal orientated environment.
