The Pharmacy Technician Trainee maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs, safety and compliance standards, enhances professional growth and development by participating in educational programs, reading current literature, and participating in inservice meetings and workshops, and prepares other written documentation as required by the profession and the department. The Pharmacy Technician Trainee also maintains, distributes, analyzes and projects information for required records, reports and statistics as directed, attends meetings as required, and performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Applicants must have a High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma. The preferred candidate will have an Associate's Degree and pharmacy experience. They will also have experience with IV preparation an Chemotherapy preparation.
