Pharmacy Inventory Management Specialist
The Pharmacy Inventory Management Specialist manages Pharmacy inventory and purchases; plans, organizes, directs, manages and evaluates departments responsible for inventory; implements the inventory management policies of the organization; manages purchases and ensures adequate inventory of materials and products in accordance with inventory cycles and organizational philosophy; conducts daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems; develops and implements inventory control procedures; coordinates and manages daily physical cycle counts.
The applicant must have an Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Healthcare or a related field and the equivalent of one year of full-time related experience; or a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time related experience. The preferred candidate will have inventory management experience, pharmacy experience, and hospital supply chain experience. They will also have experience working with multidisciplinary team, experience with the use of Microsoft Office, and experience working with wholesalers and vendors.
