The Paralegal will support an attorney in the handling, negotiation, and finalization of clinical trial agreements, confidentiality agreements, research agreements and material transfer agreements. They also perform legal or other research, as requested, draft correspondence, revise and negotiate agreement provisions under supervision of an attorney, track the status of agreements, and provide status updates, as needed and perform any necessary follow-up. The Paralegal ensures compliance with Roswell Park policies and procedures for management and approval of agreements.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of two years of full-time experience in a business or law firm setting; or an Associate’s degree and the equivalent of four years of full-time experience in a business or law firm setting. The preferred candidate will have familiarity with clinical or research activities and will be proficient in Excel.
This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
