Description of Duties:
The Operations Coordinator will function as an intake person for new contracts/CDA's and track both budget/contract activity. This person will track new agreements, share and distribute documents appropriately, disseminate an introductory package with commercial sponsors, track budget progress, and compile and share information and status updates upon request. This role will be developed into a central hub for information related to contract and budget flow. Tracking and communication would encompass a majority of the tasks (90% effort) and light clerical work, support functions, filing, etc. will account for a prox. 10% of the effort. Some examples of typical task would include (but not limited to): Facilitate, triage, and answer questions on behalf of the CRS Budget Team and Legal as well as to internal and external customers, such as: Pi’s, regulatory staff, leadership, and commercial sponsors; track contract and budgets for the purposes of reporting, identifying obstacles, and suggesting opportunities for greater efficiency; creation of written correspondence; shepherd documents through various processes; report creation (standardized and ad hoc), and other related tasks as required.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of four years of full-time related experience; or an Associate’s degree and the equivalent of six years of full-time related experience; or a High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma. and the equivalent of eight years of full-time related experience.
The preferred candidate will have experience in a research or medical setting, in a fast paced environment, and in Legal; proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook; excellent communication and organizational skills, and highly effective verbal communication skills.
This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
