Network Technician I
The Network Technician I is responsible communications of network device and VoIP phone; Ability to cable Networking closets; Network connection administration; Ability to add, move and change Cisco IP phones and Voicemails; Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager; Ability managing analog copper cross connects; Ability to assist with conference room setup and troubleshooting, Voice and Video administration (Cisco and Microsoft video endpoints); and WebEx Administration.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree; or an Associate’s degree and the equivalent of two years of full-time IT experience; or a High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of four years of full-time IT experience. The preferred candidate will have experience in the following: Cisco Unified Call Manager administration; VoIP add moves and changes; Voicemail account creation; Video and WebEx administration; Physical cabling administration (analog digital); Network Closet administration (patching); Network Switch administration. The preferred candidate will also need to work successfully and high pressure stressful situations; possess a high quality communication and customer service skills; be self-taught and willing to learning new things quickly and efficiently; possess the ability to problem solve without supervision when needed; work with in team environment and accepts constructive feedback from peers; and possess the ability to work overtime and nonstandard business hours for upgrades and unplanned system outages, when needed.
