Description of Duties

The Multimedia Designer answers to the Art Director and assumes responsibility for a design/marketing approach consisting of high-end web, print, email and social networking distribution. This includes banners, flyers, posters, handouts, brochures, PowerPoint layouts, infographics, logos, motion graphics and 2D animations. Manages all ATLAS and Urology social media accounts and websites. Ensures content is accurate, accessible, and up to date. Develops communications and marketing strategies to build brand awareness. Works directly with ATLAS Studios clients regarding branding, design, and animation projects. Ability to consistently produce a high volume of quality work, meet tight deadlines and follow up with clients to complete assignments on time.


Applicants must have an Associate’s degree and the equivalent of three years of full-time freelance or agency design experience utilizing various media. The preferred candidate will have knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, animation experience with programs such as After Effects, Premiere, or an equivalent and experience managing social media accounts and creating graphic and written content for platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, websites, and Instagram. They will also have experience creating marketing collateral and work closely with ATLAS and ATLAS Studios teams to complete projects through regular meetings. They will have a strong portfolio, works well in a team setting, strong time management skills, ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines, openness to learning new skills and growing professionally and personally. They will also have audio editing experience with programs such as Audition, experience with data visualization in graphic formats and motion graphics experience including storyboarding.

This is a grant-funded position.  Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
