Motor Vehicle and Equipment Operator
The Motor Vehicle and Equipment Operator is responsible for the operation of motor vehicles (e.g., vans) for the purpose of providing a shuttle service for patients, visitors, and staff between Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center campus locations as well as Western New York region. The Motor Vehicle and Equipment Operator also drives a variety of motor vehicles both on and off the organization property in order to transport people, material and equipment as required and to plow snow from roads, pathways and parking lots. They perform maintenance/repair tasks and maintain the appearance of the vehicles.
Applicants must have a Valid New York State Driver’s License; and Possession of or eligibility to obtain a Valid Commercial Driver’s License with the Passenger “P” Endorsement. The applicant must have a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and physically able to perform moderate to heavy physical labor. The preferred candidate will have three years Commercial Driving Experience (with a safe driving record), will be able to routinely lift 50 lbs. in the course of employment, and will be motivated to make a positive impact and able to assist when necessary.
