IT Service Desk Analyst
The IT Service Desk Analyst provides customer service to our end-user community; gathers pertinent information to aid in troubleshooting reported issues; triages same within scope of expected skill set and knowledge. Escalates requests to appropriate tier. Prepares other written documentation as required by the profession and the department; maintains, distributes, analyzes and projects information for required records and statistics as directed.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or an Associate’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, including at least one semester of an Roswell Park-approved internship in Information Technology or an Associate’s degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time customer service experience or a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of four years of full-time customer service experience. The preferred candidate will have demonstrated competence with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems and excellent customer service skills. The preferred candidate will have problem solving and organizational skills and possess the ability to exercise sound judgement in any customer service scenario.
