Description of Duties:
The IT Service Desk Analyst provides customer service to our end-user community. The IT Service Desk Analyst gathers pertinent information to aid in troubleshooting reported issues, triages Help Desk requests, escalates requests to appropriate tier, and assists senior IT staff with system preparation, testing and troubleshooting. They also prepare other written documentation as required by the profession and the department and maintain, distribute, analyze and project information for required records, reports and statistics as directed.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; or an Associate’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, including at least one semester of an Roswell Park-approved internship in Information Technology; or an Associate’s degree and the equivalent of two years of full-time customer service experience; or a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of four years of full-time customer service experience.
This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
