Human Resource Assistant I
Performs general human resources, administrative, and office duties throughout the Department of Human Resources Management; compiles and maintains related human resources records, files, information and data; assumes responsibility for communicating processes and providing assistance to customers; assists other Human Resources team members with projects and daily tasks; performs the above duties and responsibilities in a very confidential environment requiring general supervision with some latitude for utilizing judgment and initiative.
The applicant must have a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of one year of full-time Human Resources experience; or a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of two years of full-time clerical, secretarial or administrative support experience; or Matriculation in a Human Resources Management program, Business Management program, or another program in a related field. The preferred candidate will have strong administrative support experience, some entry-level human resources experience, a degree or coursework completed in business or human resources, strong customer service skills and experience, and experience working with confidential information.
