Financial Cost Analyst
The Financial Cost Analyst will provide financial cost information and analyses required by the CRS Finance Team for the purpose of generating cost estimates for clinical research studies. This individual will work with Principal Investigators, commercial sponsors, and a variety of team members. This person will create, analyze, and negotiate clinical study budgets in a timely manner, and also provide research compliance support to help with the updating of billing grids related to modifications. Presents financial analyses to Leadership and Department Administrators.
Applicants must have a Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field; or a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field and the equivalent of three years of full-time experience in a healthcare setting. The preferred candidate will have budgeting experience, clinical research experience, knowledge of clinical trials and medical terminology, negotiation experience, excellent writing and communication skills, advanced MS Excel skills, and cost/compliance analysis experience related to research billing. They will also function efficiently in a very past paced environment, be able to move between different tasks starting with billing compliance all the way through to the completed budget negotiation, and be able to interact with a variety of internal and external partners in a highly professional manner.
This is a grant-funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables is required.
