Facilities Services Manager
The Facilities Services Manager assigns, supervises, monitors, manages and coordinates the activities and employees of Facilities related term and service contractors of the Facilities organization; specializes in Building Services which include facilities-related tasks such as carpentry, flooring, painting, electrical, plumbing, materials and inventory management, doors and locks, general maintenance tasks, refrigeration, plastering and masonry, door and locksmith activities and certain heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) activities. Assists the Service Contract Manager in the management of the term and service contractor program. Manages small projects developed through term contracts. Performs daily inspections of infection control barriers around the hospital for the purpose of TJC compliance.
Applicants must have a possess a valid New York State driver’s license. They must also have a Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of five years of full-time experience as a secretary/administrator/manager or similar administrative role; or an Associate’s degree and the equivalent of seven years as a secretary/administrator/contract manager or similar administrative role.
