Description of Duties:
The Executive Assistant will perform highly complex and confidential clerical support for the Chief Scientific Operation Officer (CSOO). The incumbent will be responsible for managing all aspects of the CSOO's schedule, travel arrangements, grant submissions and management of the CCSG Administration. Duties will also include assisting CSOO in his duties Shared resources Development, including organization of meetings and teleconferences and keeping appropriate documentation. Additional duties include management of the Department website, supervision of the support staff, and other special projects as assigned by the CSOO. The Incumbent will perform the above duties and responsibilities in a highly complex and confidential environment requiring direct supervision from a senior-level executive, with broader latitude for utilizing judgment and initiative.
Applicants must have an Associate’s degree and the equivalent of four years of full-time secretarial or related experience; or a High School diploma or a High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of five years of full-time secretarial or related experience.
The preferred candidate will have experience in a research and/or clinical setting with personnel and administrative tasks, experience developing and maintains strong relationships with outside medical and industry leaders to organize meetings, seminars and symposiums. The preferred candidate with also have knowledge and expertise to supervise and oversee administrative activities as a team leader.
