Description of Duties:
The Environmental Services Worker participates in a variety of cleaning-related tasks in order to maintain cleanliness within patient care, post-patient care and all non-patient and public areas including the cleansing of sterile areas. The Environmental Services worker performs necessary linen services operations and may operate a standard small-load truck during the performance of assigned tasks. They also operate lawn-care equipment and snow removal/distribution equipment as needed and operate various other machinery. The Environmental Services Worker performs more complex specialty functions and/or processes as directed.
Applicants must have a High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma. The preferred candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, stable employment history, and an excellent time and attendance record. They will also have the ability to stand on their feet for eight hour shift and will have experience working non-traditional shifts (overnight).
