The Environmental Services Worker participates in a variety of cleaning-related tasks in order to maintain cleanliness within patient care, post-patient care and all non-patient and public areas including the cleansing of sterile areas, provides a clean and safe environment for all patients, visitors and staff, and handles and removes various types of waste. The Environmental Services Worker also performs various types of floor care, assists in moving furniture and equipment throughout the Institute, performs room set up for meetings, and performs moderate to heavy physical labor that may include lifting up to 100 lbs, frequent walking, and standing
Applicants must have a High School diploma or G.E.D.. The preferred candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, the ability to stand on their feet for eight hour shifts, and excellent time and attendance.
