Electrical Engineering Manager
The Electrical Engineering Manager provides leadership to building electricians and other trades people in the management and maintenance of the electrical systems in RPCI facilities. The Electrical Engineering Manager manages all activities of the electrical function, participates in construction projects, and supervises planned, routine and preventative maintenance activities. They also perform troubleshooting and repair activities, participate proactively in the energy conservation initiatives of the Institute, and manage and assist in the development of shop budgets, project schedules, and all aspects of shop business needs in support of department and RPCI goals. The Electrical Engineering Manager assures all personnel remain proficient in their trade by coordinating training and other staff development opportunities.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, industrial technology, controls engineering or a related field and the equivalent of five years of full-time experience in electrical power and control systems; or an Associate’s degree in electrical engineering, industrial technology, controls engineering or a related field and the equivalent of seven years of full-time experience in electrical power and control systems.
