Description of Duties:
The Distribution Clerk maintains inventories in Storeroom, PAR carts and Pyxis supply stations, delivers medical supplies to patient care areas throughout the Institute, monitors inventory to ensure availability for patient care, breaks down pallets, and delivers supplies and stocks storeroom shelves. The Distribution Clerk also makes certain that all stock is rotated and that any expired products are removed from inventory locations and keeps work areas clean and clear of any safety hazards.
Applicants must have a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of one year of full-time experience in distribution/shipping/receiving or a related field. The preferred candidate will have the equivalent of on year full-time warehouse/distribution experience in a healthcare setting, will possess basic PC skills, and will have excellent customer service skills. They will also possess a valid driver's license.
