Digital Press Operator/Graphic Designer
The Digital Press Operator/Graphic Designer performs graphics and pre-press production utilizing knowledge of color, pre-press workflows, and basic graphic design skills; handles customer files for pre-flight, proofing, and pagination for digital presses and monitors color and quality control throughout the process. conducts graphic file formatting and manipulation such as logo replacement, alignment and color and image adjustments to ensure a quality printed product; utilizes the department’s state-of-the-art digital presses to complete projects based on assignments.
Applicants must have an Associate's degree and the equivalent of one year of experience in a design/printing environment; or a High School diploma or High School Equivalency and the equivalent of three years of experience in a design/printing environment. The preferred candidate will have experience in digital printing work-flows including file prep, collection and printing and will be proficient skills and knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud Apps including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat. They will also be comfortable in a fast-paced production environment and with engaging with customers to assure a high standard in client satisfaction.
